The Notre Dame boys volleyball team put up a valiant fight last night but fell just short against Liberty in a thrilling five-set battle (18-25, 19-25, 25-22, 25-22, 12-15).
After dropping the first two sets, the Crusaders showed tremendous resilience, rallying to take the next two sets by identical 25-22 scores and forcing a decisive fifth set. Despite their momentum, Notre Dame came up just short in the final frame, falling 12-15.
The team will look to carry that fighting spirit into their next match on Friday when they take on Pocono Mountain East.
