The Notre Dame boys tennis team delivered a dominant performance today, sweeping Jim Thorpe 5-0.
Nico Guet Cruza set the tone at first singles with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 victory. At second singles, Liam Behrens battled through a competitive first set before pulling away for a 6-3, 6-0 win. Hunter Skodocek was in complete control at third singles, also winning 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles play, Nico Braido and Aidan Dalton showed strong chemistry at first doubles, securing a 6-0, 6-1 victory. The second doubles pairing of Gene Behme and Kai’den Engle won their match by forfeit, rounding out the Crusaders' sweep.
It was a commanding performance from Notre Dame as they continue to build momentum going into tomorrow's rescheduled match against Pen Argyl.
