SOUTHERN LEHIGH HIGH SCHOOL: 4.00
The Notre Dame boys' tennis team faced a tough matchup against Southern Lehigh, falling 1-4. Despite strong efforts across the lineup, the Crusaders were unable to secure the win.
In singles play, Nico Guet Cruza battled in the first singles match but fell 0-6, 4-6. Liam Behrens put up a strong fight at second singles, winning the first set before narrowly losing in three sets, 6-2, 5-7, 2-6. Hunter Skodocek also fought hard at third singles but came up short, 3-6, 4-6.
The lone win for Notre Dame came from the first doubles team of Nico Braido and Aidan Dalton, who staged a comeback to secure a three-set victory, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5. In second doubles, Kai’den Engle and Gene Behme battled but fell 4-6, 1-6.
The Crusaders will look to bounce back in their next match Thursday at Pen Argyl.
