Notre Dame’s girls volleyball team delivered a strong performance on the road Tuesday, sweeping Jim Thorpe, 3-0, with set scores of 25-7, 25-19 and 25-23.

The Crusaders set the tone from the opening serve, dominating the first set, 25-7. Jim Thorpe responded with a more competitive effort in the second and third sets, but Notre Dame maintained its composure to secure the straight-set victory.

Ella Farrow guided the Crusaders’ offense with 25 assists, six kills, one ace and five digs, while Addyson Wilson added six kills, four aces and two blocks. Clara Reis delivered a strong all-around performance with five aces, two kills and 21 digs.

Elizabeth Stefurak contributed three kills, one ace and seven digs, while Natalie Lilly recorded four kills and three digs. Olivia Lennert anchored the defensive effort with 14 digs, and Emma Fisher added nine digs and an ace. Paige Lyden contributed a kill, an ace and nine digs, while Paige Marks recorded an ace and eight digs.

Mary Rabold added two kills and two blocks, with Alexa Beani contributing a block. Natalia Melgarejo chipped in an ace and four digs.

Notre Dame will look to carry the momentum into its next match Wednesday when the Crusaders return home to host Catasauqua.
