The Notre Dame girls volleyball team earned a convincing 3-0 victory over Pen Argyl on the road, winning by set scores of 25-15, 25-11 and 25-11.

The Crusaders controlled the match from the opening serve, combining strong offensive execution with consistent defensive play to secure the straight-set victory. Notre Dame maintained its momentum throughout all three sets, limiting Pen Argyl’s opportunities and closing out the match with back-to-back 25-11 set wins.

Ella Farrow guided the Crusaders’ offense with 18 assists, three kills, two aces and two digs, while Hannah Zile added seven assists to help keep Notre Dame’s attack moving. Casey Lagodney led the team with five kills and contributed seven digs, while Mary Rabold recorded four kills.

Alexa Beani added three kills, two aces and three blocks, and Addyson Wilson contributed three kills and one ace. M. Shevtziv recorded three kills and three digs, while Elizabeth Stefurak finished with two kills, two aces and eight digs.

Notre Dame’s serving and defensive efforts played an important role in the sweep. Natalia Melgarejo recorded three aces, while Clara Reis added three aces and a team-high 15 digs. Paige Lyden contributed two aces, one assist and six digs, and Paige Marks added one ace and one dig.

Natalie Lilly recorded one kill and eight digs, while Olivia Lennert finished with six digs. Emma Fisher added three digs.

The Crusaders will return to action this weekend when they travel to Northampton High School Saturday to compete in the Jess Finlayson Tournament.
